Copy and Paste Features

Do-It! has many copy and paste features that make it easier for you to do data entry.

Want to copy a typical meal such as breakfast from day to day? Or even a whole days's worth of foods? Just follow the directions below!

Copy a Single Food Item
To copy a single food item:
  • click on the food item so that the cursor is on the food item
  • right click the mouse, and select Copy Food Item from the popup menu.
  • navigate to the day and meal where you want to put the food
  • right click the mouse, and select Paste from the popup menu.

  • Copy a Meal
        To copy a meal:
  • click on any food item within the meal.
  • right click the mouse, and select Copy Meal from the popup menu.
  • navigate to the day and meal where you want to put the food.
  • right click the mouse, and select Paste from the popup menu.

  • Copy a Whole Day
        To copy a whole day:
  • click on any food item within the day (any meal).
  • right click the mouse, and select Copy Day (Food Only) from the popup menu.
  • navigate to the day and meal where you want to put the food.
  • right click the mouse, and select Paste from the popup menu.

Note: If you select Copy Day (All Values) instead of Copy Day (Food Only), then all exercise for the day will also be copied for you.

  • Copy from an existing menu
With a few clicks, you can fill in a day's daily log from a pre-existing menu (Do-It! comes with some examples, or you can make your own):
  • click on any food item within the day (any meal).
  • select Paste from Menu from the popup menu.
  • select the menu to paste from, and whether you want to paste multiple days or just a single day.
